It's been a busy 6 months for MOGLabs, with a calendar full of conferences. Thanks to everyone who talked to us at DPG-SAMOP Heidelberg, ICOLS Singapore, DAMOP Columbus, Laser Munich, EGAS Riga, iCoRD Durham, QuAMP Brighton and probably some others I'm forgetting...
Thanks to everyone who visited our booth at the EGAS meeting in Lille. This was a very international conference for us with 26 countries well-represented, so it felt quite different from DPG-SAMOP and APS-DAMOP meetings. Many people were glad to see there is an alternative company making lasers and scientific instrumentation.
Many thanks also to the organizers of EGAS46 from the Université of Lille 1. It was not obvious until we arrived that exhibitors are also invited to take part in excursions and the evening program - thanks again.
And many thanks about your feedback on the controller. There were requests for a rack-mountable controller at EGAS46, as there were at DPG-SAMOP and APS-DAMOP. We have now prototyped an optional standard rack mount kit with pull-out rails. This will be available for users to retrofit, as well as an option for new controllers.
There's a neat video/article outlining how to setup an ECDL system for atomic frequency locking on JoVE:
You may notice some of our old (superseded) ECD003 lasers, photodetectors and what I believe are Rev. 7 DLC laser controllers being used. We are currently shipping Rev. 9 DLCs, ECD004 lasers and photodetectors with newly designed external housing.
Thanks to everyone who visited our table at DAMOP Madison 2014. We felt very well received and enjoyed talking to everyone about their research. Surprisingly, as exhibitors we talked to more people and more broadly than when we attend as delegates! There was a particularly overwhelmingly positive response to our demonstration of the first MOGLabs wavemeter. We will be shipping the first units to some excited customers in July.
Thanks to everyone who visited our booth at the DPG Berlin meeting. We had a lot of interest and some great conversations. There were several people who reported positive feedback from colleagues with MOGLabs products. Such word-of-mouth recommendations from our happy customers reassure us that MOGLabs is successfully catering to the research community.
Below are a couple of camera-phone photos from the DPG exhibit.
Come see us at the DPG SAMOP meeting in Berlin!
We will be exhibiting our DLC laser controllers, CEL cateye laser, SD002 shutter driver and will have some demo units and heaps of information about our new products - the MWM001 wavemeter, the ARF421 rf and AOM driver and the MOA001 optical amplifier.
The Trade Exhibition will be from Tuesday 18th - Thursday 20th. Find us at Stand 56 in the 1st floor corridor (not the main exhibition area).
