The FSC is an ultra-fast PID servo controller for high-bandwidth laser locking, with separate control loops for fast (typically diode current) and slow (usually piezo) feedback for complete control of laser frequency. Critical feedback parameters are easily adjusted using the front-panel control knobs for cavity locking, linewidth narrowing or beatnote offset locking applications.
Compatible with all laser heads that include direct injection modulation (such as the MOGLabs CEL or LDL) and drivers that include external piezo control (such as the MOGLabs DLC).
A matched low-noise 30MHz photodetector, the MOGLabs PDA030, can be powered directly from the FSC.
